How Coaching Helps

 In find peace in parenting

Have you ever laid awake at night with your brain running on fast-forward?  Or maybe you pace the floor when you’re worried?  Or drive to work but you don’t really recall the drive because your mind was so consumed with doubts about your son?

I have even simply sat on the couch with so many things running through my head that I can’t even pinpoint what it is that’s bothering me except an overall feeling of doom-and-gloom because of the things my son is doing (or not doing).  As various scenarios race through my mind, I know there’s something I should be doing to make it stop (so I can actually do something about my problem); but when I’m stuck in the confusion and chaos of it all, the only answer seems to be, “Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, Kelly, and somehow this will all stop… eventually… hopefully.”

But… what if you don’t have to keep waiting for this all to stop?  (You don’t.)  What if you can start feeling some peace and confidence sooner rather than later?  (You can.)  What if your life ~ right now ~ could be so much more than just going through the motions?  (It totally can!)

This is where Life Coaching comes in.

About 60,000 sentences go through your brain each and every day, some you are probably aware of, but not all of them (or even most of them).  Whether or not you’re conscious of them, though, they definitely affect whether your experience is wonderful or painful (or anything in between).  Life coaching, in general, helps you look at what’s going on inside your brain so you can supervise it.  Find Peace in Parenting coaching, specifically, helps moms like you who are consumed with worry because your son is dabbling with drugs (or totally addicted), hard to have a peaceful conversation with (or maybe he won’t even talk to you), questioning all of the foundational things you’ve taught him about God and the world (or walked away from it altogether), has stopped being responsible and respectful (at least with you).

What’s swirling around in your brain about your son?  It’s so much easier to keep your thoughts about him and your situation on automatic pilot ~ even though it makes you miserable, day in and day out.  But, with coaching, you can begin to understand how your brain works and how it affects you.  It takes effort but the awareness that comes shines light on where your power lies.

Making time to think about what you’re thinking and then taking time to think about what you want to think will be the difference between feeling

Guilt or peace.

Frustration or compassion.

Insecure or confident.

Overwhelmed or determined.

Hopelessness or hopefulness.

Sorrow or unconditional love.

If you’re tired of feeling helpless because you can’t control your son, or hurt because “it was never supposed to be like this,” or hopeless that you can ever be at peace again, it’s time to do something about it.  Sign up for your own private Find Peace in Parenting mini-session.

I promise you ~ you don’t have to keep being weighed down by the things happening in your life right how; your only choice is not heartache, despair, and fear.  Maybe this seems impossible to you, but what if it’s totally possible, even for you, even in your situation?

No matter what’s going on for you right now, Find Peace in Parenting coaching helps moms start feeling better.  From that place of at least desiring more confidence in your parenting, we work together to create a sense of peace in your situation, which eventually leads to a place where you feel unconditional love ~ for yourself and your son.

Are you ready?
